The death has occurred of
SEÁN HICKEY
SEÁN HICKEY (Rathcanning, Dungourney, Co. Cork).
Seán passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 18th 2026 in the excellent care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
Predeceased by his sister Maureen (Ahern) and brother Christy.
Deeply regretted by his wife Bridie (née Barry), sons Barry, Donnacha, Michael and John, siblings Dinny Joe, Vincent, Joan (Rigney) and Con, daughters-in-law Cheryl, Martina, Yvonne and Rebecca, grandchildren Rowan, Ciara, Kaitlyn, Alisha, Joe and Noah, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Seán Rest In Peace.
Seán will repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Monday 19th from 5pm-6.30pm.
Reception into St. Peter’s Church, Dungourney prior to Requiem Mass at 12pm on Tuesday 20th followed by burial in Mogeely Old Cemetery.
