Sean Irwin

Sean, peacefully after a brave battle, in the wonderful care of the staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork. Predeceased by his parents, Michael & Mary. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Barry, Agnes (Walsh), Anne (Pomphrett), Clare (Mullins), Michael and William. His brothers-in-law Ted, Pat & Noel. His sisters-in-law Catherine, Laoise & Maryliz. His nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Egan’s Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal, P36 KN29, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm on Friday October 24th 2025. Funeral mass on Saturday October 25th 2025 at 12.00 noon at St. Peter in Chains Church, Ballymacoda, Co Cork, P25 E780. Followed by Burial in the old Cemetery Mogeely.

The family really appreciate the wonderful care given to Sean by Dr. Bambury and his team at Cork University Hospital, the doctors, nurses, staff and CPC team at Marymount University Hospice along with his GP, Dr. McEnroe, and the local Public Health Team in Youghal.

The family deeply appreciate Clodagh and her team at Castle Pharmacy, Castlemartyr, for their kindness to Sean over the years.
