The death has occurred of
Sean (John) McGARRY
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sean (John) McGarry, who passed away peacefully, on Wednesday 17th September, 2025, in the loving care of Blackrock Hospice and previously at Blackrock Clinic.
He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, good nature and great sense of humour by his family, wife Nora, children Seán, Deirdre, Niall, Clare and Caitriona, daughters-in-law Jacqueline and Caroline, sons-in-law Paul, Mark and Colin, his adored grandchildren Liadáin, Conor, Ella, Cian, Aaron, Tom, Sophia, Danny, Anna, Lola and Sadie, brothers Liam and Michael and by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Megan and Dymphna.
At John’s request, his funeral has taken place privately
