Sean (John) O'FLAHERTY
O’Flaherty, Sean (John). January 26th 2021, in his 89th year. Late of Cloiginn Park, Ballyfermot, South Dublin C.C and Fingal C.C. Predeceased by his daughter Noeleen. Devoted husband of 63 years to Eileen (Ellen) (née Kane). Loving dad of Maura, Terence, John, Denise, Patrick, Gerard and Eileen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Tony, Ger and Andrew, daughters-in-law Elaine, Lorna, Erica and Lisa, brothers Paddy, Dessie and Brian, his sister Maura and the late Tommy, Seamus, Liam, Kathleen and Deirdre, grandchildren Elaine, David, Gemma, Joelle, Cathy, Maisie, Killian, Claire, Petra, Kate, Amy, Sarah, Jack, Sean, Ciaran, Aidan, Lucy, Ciara, Daniel, Conor, Sophie, Christopher and Adam, great-grandchildren Lauren, Nicole, Jamie, Owen, Hannah, Aoife, Cameron, Kaydee, Rocco, Ed, Joey, Lizzie and Liam, sisters-in-law Mary, Sylvia, Jean and Joan, brother-in law Nicholas and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Kane family, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and wide circle of friends including his wonderful neighbours and friends of Cloiginn Park, the community of Ballyfermot and at Shamrock Rovers Football Club where he was a proud lifelong supporter.

Sean’s family would like to thank the wonderful team at TLC Maynooth who lovingly cared for him especially during these difficult times of Covid regulations. A private family funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your personal message in the section below marked “Condolences”.
