Barronstown, Hackballscross, Dundalk.

Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in St. James Hospital on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his father Oliver.

Sean will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife and best friend Tracie (née Jackson), his much loved children Sean, Michaela, Rian and Siné, his dear mother Gretta (née Kelly), sisters Dolories, Claire, Caroline, Olivia and Sinead, his cherished grandchildren Jack, Bella-Rose, Hollie, Oliver, and expected soon to be born grandson, sons-in-law Ryan and Liam, daughters-in-law Amy and Claire, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and many friends and work colleagues in DTT.

Reposing at his home, Barronstown, Hackballscross [A91W400] on Saturday 11am to 10pm and Sunday from 11am to 7pm, house private for family thereafter.

Removal on Monday morning to The Church of Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley [A91XV99] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations if desired to a charity of your choice.

 

Limited parking available, please use the courtesy transport provided

The courtesy bus will be available from the Old Road, Stone Yard (Law Bog), directly across from Eircode [A91HH98] on the main Castleblayney Road.

Sean was much loved and will be dearly missed,

leaving behind a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
