Peacefully in University Hospital Galway, after a short illness. Sadly missed by his wife Mary and daughters Karen, Claire, Martina & Caroline. Beloved Gaga to Aoibheann, Iarla & Sadhbh. Fondly remembered by his sons-in-law Gearóid & Cian, and Claire's & Caroline's partners Ronan & James. Deeply missed by his brother Martin, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Monahan's Funeral Home, Gort, Friday, 11th August, from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Saint Colman's Church, Gort. Funeral mass on Saturday, 12th August, at 10am. Burial afterwards in Saint Colman's Cemetery, Gort. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
