SEÁN LEYDON Goff Street, Roscommon Town (and formerly Keadue, Boyle). 29th August 2025; Peacefully, at the Galway Clinic, following a short illness, surrounded by his wife and family.

Beloved husband of Ríona and loving father of Aisling, Aonghus, Máire, Toirealach, Nollaig, Seán Óg, Tomás and Ailbhe. Adored grandfather of Zara, Thomas, James, Ethan, Adam, Conor, Rónán, Jayne Catherine, William, Samuel, Aoife, Ciarán, Caoimhe, Oisín, Saoirse and Éabha. Deeply mourned by his sons-in-law Tom, Paul, Eric and Owen, daughter-in-law Iwona, Toirealach’s partner Jim, his nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Mary, Anne and Gretta, cousins, neighbours and many good friends.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Mary Kate and John and by his sisters Alice and Tessie.

May Seán rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c. Removal from his home on Tuesday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
