Sean Loughran

LOUGHRAN Sean (Castleknock, Dublin and formerly of Glasgow and Dun Laoghaire) December 9th 2025 passed away peacefully surrounded by his heartbroken family and in the loving care of the staff at The Blackrock Clinic. Sean, beloved husband of the late Catherine (née Dooley), dear father of David, Deborah, William, Jonathan, father-in-law to Michelle and a devoted grandfather to Timmy and Phoenix. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Evi, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and many from his musical days with the Ludlow Trio beginning in the Abbey Tavern where he met Catherine, Fintan Lawlor Pipe Band, and Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir.

Reposing at his residence on Friday evening (December 12th) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Saturday morning (December 13th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am followed by Cremation in Mt. Jerome Crematorium.
