McCARTHY (Greenwood Estate, Togher, Cork): On April 13th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of Farranlea Community Nursing Unit, SEAN (late of Our Lady’s Hospital, Togher and the Lough Credit Union), beloved husband of the late Marie (née Brennan), loving father of Anne, Frances, Marie, Geraldine, Niall, Donal (Australia), Sean (Denmark) and grandfather of the late Ciara, dear brother of Tommy, Niall and Kathleen.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Gerry, Duncan, Norman and Pat, daughters-in-law Marguerite, Florence and Maia, his adored grandchildren Niamh, Shane, Robert, John, Sam, Iain, Julien, Sophie, Fiona, Sean, Sebastian and Anna, extended family and a large circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Wednesday (April 15th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (April 16th) in the Church of the Way of the Cross, Togher which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Passage West.
