12th January 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St Catherine's Nursing Home, Newcastle West.

Pre-deceased by his mother and father Mary and Jack McCarthy.

Very deeply regretted by his sister Theresa O'Brien and husband Willie of Ballintubber, sister Eileen Collum and husband Paddy of Letterkenny, Donegal, nieces Susan and husband Derek, Mary and husband Mo, nephews Stephen and wife Marie, Gerard and wife Yvonne, grandnieces and grandnephews Emma, Darragh, Jack, Zoe, Zayn, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Sunday, 14th January from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Arriving at St John the Baptist Church, Castlemahon on Monday morning for 11:30 am requiem mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Sean's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the management and staff at St Catherine's Nursing Home for their professionalism and kindness throughout Sean's illness.
