Sean McDonnell

Sean McDonnell, late of Annabree, Spencer Park, Castlebar peacefully passed away after a short illness on 10th January in the loving care of his family and the caring staff at Galway University Hospital.

 

Deeply mourned by his adoring and devoted wife Maureen and his cherished children Sandra, Sinéad, Noel, Patricia, Seanie, Maria, Joanne, Joseph, and Sheelagh. Very sadly missed and remembered by his fifteen adored grandchildren Keira, Erin, Sean, Trinity, Cole, Rory, James, Dara, JJ, Sammy, Lusia, Katie, Christopher, Jodie, and his special beloved Lauren.

 

He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his sisters Kathleen and Pauline, and brother Jimmy. Predeceased by his loving parents Paddy and Delia (Bertie), his sister Marion, and brother Billy. Fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbors, and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, on Monday, January 13th, from 5pm to 7pm with removal to his home. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 14th, at 11am in St. Patrick's Church Islandeady, followed by burial in Islandeady cemetery.

 

 

A Final Tribute

A true gentleman who touched the lives of everyone he met, Sean will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, ingenuity and unwavering love for his family. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
