Sean Neary

The death has occurred unexpectedly, of Sean Neary, Rowan Drive, Castlebar and formerly of Magherafadda, Ballyheane, Castlebar, on 1st February 2026 at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents James and Kathleen (née Corley) Neary, Magherafadda, Ballyheane and his sister -in-law Geraldine and his nephews Gerard and Eric and Lee.

 

Dearly loved husband of Caroline (née McLoughlin) and loving father of Serena, Karen and Sarah.

 

He will be deeply missed and always loved by his wife, daughters and his grandchildren Byron and his partner Becca, Kyle, Ayla, Emily, Owen and Sean, his sons-in-law Geoffrey Bourke, Kieran Biggins and Geoffrey Conboy, his brothers Peter, Mattie, Seamus and Tom, his sisters-in-law Jenny, Martina, Veronica, Maria, Chrisy and Joan, his brothers-in-law Tommy, John, Benny and Dick, all the family circle, relations and many friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Sean will repose at his home 71 Rowan Drive, Castlebar F23 D594 on Tuesday 3rd February from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

House private please outside of reposing times, except for close family and friends.

 

The funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyheane on Wednesday 4th February for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.

Afterwards, Sean will be laid to rest in Ballyheane Cemetery.
