Seán (Nicholas) McHugh
Death of Seán (Nicholas) McHugh DOB 28.12.69.
Our lovely Seán passed away peacefully on Monday 9th March at home, surrounded by close family, facing the beautiful Dorset countryside. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, his son Kaleb and his daughter Kyla, and sisters Maria, Bernadette, Catherine, Rachel and Danielle.
Having been diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2021, Seán lived longer than any of his doctors expected. He fought hard to stay here with the people he loved for as long as possible, and we are all so grateful for the precious time we had together with him.
We have decided to receive donations here
for three charities that have added value and provided exceptional care during Sean’s final years of life: The Royal Marsden, Sutton; Weldmar Hospice Care, Dorset; and Brain Tumour Research. Our hope is that a legacy gift on Seán’s behalf will make a difference in the lives of others who may walk a similar path.’
We will be celebrating Seán’s life on Thursday 26th March in the Village Hall, Askerswell, DT29EW at 3.30pm. This will be followed by light refreshments.
