Peacefully in the loving care of all at Bridhaven Care Centre, Mallow.

Sean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Helen, brother Jim, niece Lynn (Canada), Goddaughter Cica (Germany) and a large circle of friends in Cork and in the writers world.

We remember John and celebrate the life of Canadian poet and children's author Sean o' Huigin. Born John Higgins on June 27th 1942 in Brampton, Ontario Canada.

Service will take place at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy on Tuesday December 9th at 11am. All are welcome

His pioneering and playful verse enriched the imaginations of countless young readers. He had a rare gift for writing poems that spoke to the secret joys, anxieties and imaginings of children.
