Seán O'Brien

Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. Surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff of ICU North, Beaumont Hospital and previously Oncology Unit, Bons Secours Hospital, Glasnevin.

 

A fight fought quietly and bravely.

 

Beloved husband of his heartbroken wife, Yvonne, loving father of Laura Jane and Tiarnán, son of Frank and predeceased by his mum Eileen, brother of Declan (Gemma), Máire (Mark), Stephen (Nina), and Sylvia (Gerhard), much loved son-in-law of Joseph and Mary. He will be sadly missed by his family, sister-in-law Rosemarie, nieces and nephews John, Cormac, Emer, Meabh, Katie, Sam, Poppy and Tristan, special friend of Rory and Sharon, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbours, and former colleagues.

 

Reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Wednesday (August 21) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny at 11.30am on Thursday (August 22) followed by cremation in Glasnevin at 2.30pm.
