O’BRIEN, Sean (Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath) January 16th., 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Anita (née Connolly) and much-loved father of Suzanne, Kate, Trish, Gerard and Janet and brother of the late Tom and Nuala; Sean will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren Daragh, Shane, Kirsty, Blaithín, Cathal, Barry, Ellen, Ryan and Cara, great-grandchildren Bobby, Loui, Finian and Moss, sister Ger, sons-in-law Edward, Dan and Paul, brothers-in-law Michael and Bill, sisters-in-law Lou and Monica, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Dunboyne on Wednesday evening (January 21st) between 5 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Thursday morning (January 22nd) to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Dunboyne arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery.
