late of Kiltullagh, Athenry, Co. Galway and ex Chief Superintendent, An Garda Síochána.
Who died on Tuesday 26th August, 2025.
Peacefully, in the tender care of his family and all the staff at The South East Palliative Care Centre, Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford, predeceased by his son Niall, parents Thomas and Delia.
Seán will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ellen (Nellie née Dowling), sons Tomás, Shane, David and Michael, daughters Eleanor, Joanne and Emily, daughters-in-law Sandra, June, Linda and Annie, sons-in-law Paul and Mick, grandchildren Éadaoin, Richard, Kate, Sean, Matthew, Lucy and Daniel, brother Michéal, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, his ex colleagues in An Garda Síochána, extended family, neighbours and friends.
MAY SEÁN REST IN PEACE
Seán will be reposing at his home (X91 E4H3) on Thursday 28th August from 3pm until 9pm. Seán's removal will take place from his home on Friday 29th August to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon after which Seán will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
