POWER, Sean, 20 March 2026, (Raheny and formerly of Kildare Town) peacefully, after a long & bravely fought illness, surrounded by his loving family under the tender care of the wonderful staff of St Francis’ Hospice, Raheny.

 

Beloved husband of Frances & adored father of Ingrid & Larissa - he will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughters & son-in-law Niall, together with his brothers & sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, his extended family, friends & neighbours.

 

MAY HE REST IN PEACE

 

Sean will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock on Wednesday 25th March 2026 from 2-4pm. Removal on Thursday 26th March to St Brigid’s Church, Killester, arriving for Funeral mass at 10am, followed by private cremation.

 

House private, please.

The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff & Palliative team of St Francis Hospice, Raheny & also to the staff & Prof. Oscar Breathnach at The Bons Secours Hospital, Dublin for their great care & attention to Sean, & the family, during the course of his illness.
