Sean (Seanie) Joyce

The death has occurred of Sean (Seanie) Joyce of Ballyholan, Downhill Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Peacefully with his family, following a life well lived and very much loved.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret (neé Rafter) and Michael Joyce and his stepmother Mai Morrell Joyce, by his brothers Mícheal and Eamonn, and stepbrother Pat Morrell, sisters-in-law Doreen (Devers) and Bernie (Syron Devers).

Loving husband to Susan, absolutely adored by his sons and daughters John, Donna, Susie, Michael, and Thomas and by their partners. He was an amazing and much-loved grandfather to Darragh, Séan, Cian, Cathal, Conor, Orla, Cormac, Siobhán, Conal and Diarmuid. Sadly missed by his brothers Ritchie, Pat, his sisters Kathleen and Dorrie, his in-laws and many Friends and neighbours.

Our legend, may his kind and generous soul rest in peace.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Monday evening, 19th February from 7:30pm with removal at 9:00pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11:30am with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina for burial.
