Sean Sharkey

Sean Sharkey, Glasheen House, Drumalee, Cavan Town, Saturday, August 6th 2022, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Carmel (nee Smith) and loving father of the late Rory. Sean was the devoted father of Fiona and Noelene and he will be very sadly missed by his loving daughters, son in law Gavin, his adored grandchildren, Shannon, Cathal and Cara, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, all his relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

 

Reposing at his home (H12 K4V6), tomorrow, Sunday, from 4pm until 9pm and on Monday from 2pm until 5pm. Removal on Monday evening at 6.15 to St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise, via Main St. Cavan, and proceeding to the Pullamore roundabout and continuing via the bypass arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am followed by burial in the family plot in Cullies Cemetery. No flowers please, donations, in lieu, would be appreciated to The Cathedral Restoration Fund, c/o Fr Kevin Fay Adm. Please be mindful of the continuing presence of Covid 19 and take care to keep everyone safe while calling to pay your respects.
