Sean Sheehy, Baldoyle, Dublin and originally of Kanturk, Co. Cork and dentist in Malahide for 40 years.

31st July 2025.

Peacefully in his 90th year, surrounded by his devoted family. Beloved husband and best friend of Maeve and loving father of Paul, Kate, Mark and Clare.

Sean was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his wife, sons and daughters, sons-in-law Brendan O’Reilly and Ralf Lissek, daughters-in-law Aoife and Jane, grandchildren Harry, Izzy, Caroline, Katie, Ella, Anna, Max, Sarah, Nessa, Jack and Finn, his infant great-granddaughter Suki, his granddaughter-in-law Eve, his sister Maura O’Keeffe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his brother Frank.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to the wonderful staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, and all those who cared for and helped Sean during his illness.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock, D13 E0A2 on bank holiday Monday afternoon, August 4th from 3pm to 5pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning, August 5th, to the Church of SS Peter & Paul, Main Street, Baldoyle, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
