Seán Sherwin

The death has occurred of Seán Sherwin, Lavagh, Rooskey, Co. Roscommon, (formerly Ballyfermot, Clondalkin, Saggart), peacefully at home on Wednesday 30th April 2025. Seán is predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Sherwin (née Davis), his sister Margaret, his brother-in-law Bernie and his recently deceased Cousin Pat (née Dooner). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children John, Liz and Marc, and their spouses Caríosa, Tom and Dorcas, his grandchildren Seán, Tom and David, his brother Kevin and sister-in-law Catherine, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Seán will repose at his residence on Friday 2nd May from 6pm to 9pm. On Saturday, May 3rd he will repose at Stafford’s Funeral Home in Ballyfermot, Dublin, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Ballyfermot, arriving for Funeral Mass on Monday 5th at 11:30am followed by a burial in Saggart Cemetery. Public parking local to the church and also available at Stafford’s Funeral Home.
