The death has occurred of
Sean Stanley
John (Sean) Stanley (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Woodford, Co. Galway and founder of Shannon Homes) January 26th 2024, peacefully, after a short illness, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, in his 99th year. Beloved husband of Laurie and the late Ethel and much loved father of Sheila, Colm, John, Jim, Thomas, Emily and Eileen. Predeceased by his brothers Liam, Noel, Fr. Pat and Fr. Jim and by his sister Eileen.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren Jennifer, Neil, David, Emma, Karen, Mark, John, Conor, Rebecca, Morgan, Robert, Ryan, Rachael and Sorcha, great-grandchildren Kate, Lucas, Aoibhín, Jessica and Ellie, brothers Dick, Joe, Fr. Cathal and Sam, sisters Mary, Pearl and Sr. Teresa, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at his son Colm’s residence on Sunday afternoon from 4pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Monday afternoon (29th January) arriving for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm followed by burial in Confey Cemetery, Leixlip.
