Thornton, Seán (Artane and formerly Killester) – August 27, 2022, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, beloved husband of the recently deceased Eileen and father of the late David; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Paula, son Seán, son-in-law Tony, daughter-in-law Bernie, grandchildren Ciarán, Cormac, Jasmine, Mark and Rachel, his sister Nuala, sister-in-law Alice, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Monday afternoon with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning in St. Brigid’s Church, Killester, at 10 o’clock. Funeral thereafter to Balgriffin Lawn Cemetery.
