The death has occurred of
Sean TOWNSEND
Sean Townsend of Ballyloo, Nurney, Co Carlow, passed away peacefully, on March 18th, 2026 at Wexford General Hospital, Co Wexford.
Beloved father of Sean and Áine, much loved grandfather of Laura and cherished brother of Liam, Kathleen and the late Ned.
He will be sadly missed by his loving children and their mother Kathleen, grandchild, daughter-in-law Frances, brother, sister, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
May Sean’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Sean will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Friday March 20th from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Tinryland followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery
