Sean Vaughan

Sean Vaughan Cloonsuck, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. January 6th, 2026, (peacefully), at Mayo University Hospital. Pre-deceased by his parents; Thomas and Bridget, and his sisters Eileen, Nancy and Delia. Loving husband of Helen and father to Thomas (Castlerea), Rosemary Becker (Munich), Mairead Lyons (Keash) and Denise.Dunleavy (Castlerea).

Sean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his son and daughters, his adored grandchildren; Leanne, Sean, Conor, Ryan, Amelia, Katie, Lucia, Matthew, Tom, James, Emma and Ethan. Also, by his daughter-in-law Olivia, his sons-in-law Jens, Aidan and Seamus. Brothers-in-law Joe, Tom and Peter, his sister-in-law Rosie, and his cousin Helen. Extended family neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home (F45 V2Y4) Castlerea, on Thursday evening from 5.00pm until 7:00pm with removal at 7:15 to St. Brigid’s Church, Cloonbonniffe (arriving approximately 8pm). Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
