The death has occurred of
Sean Whelan
Cherryhill Green, Kells, Co.Meath
formerly of
Eastwall and. Coolock, Dublin
peacefully in the loving care of his devoted wife and family
Sean is predeceased by his parents Christopher and Elizabeth and his brothers and sisters
Survived by his loving wife Margaret and his devoted children sons Sean and Fergal,
daughters Philomena, Adrienne, Siobhan, Finola and Mairead, sons-in-law, daughters in-law, grandchildren and great grandsons, nieces, nephews and cousin.
Sean will repose at Mc Entee’s Funeral Home Newmarket St Kells A82KOD7 on Monday from 6pm to 7.30pm
Removal from his residence Cherryhill Green on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Colmcille's Church Kells for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed on the link below followed by cremation at Lakeland’s Crematorium Dublin Road Cavan at 2.15pm

May Sean Rest In Peace In The Presence of A Loving God

Sean will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband father and grandfather and true friend to many.
A former employee of Aerlingus and a Representative of the Union Movement at National Level, and a member of the National Assembly for Older Citizens, also was a member of the Labour Party serving many positions at local and national level.
Sean will be remembered as a man of high standards, seeking justice and fairness for all both in the workplace and the wider society.
