Original member at Lucan Golf Club. Keen Flyfisher and friend of Clonbur, Co. Mayo. An Óige member. Mountain climber. Ski Instructor and Honorary Citizen of Kirchberg, Austria for services to ski tourism. Numerous stories, too many to mention.

He left us peacefully in his 90th year, following a short illness surrounded by his family and in the dedicated care of MISA St. James’s Hospital staff. Beloved husband of Marion and loving father of Cormac, Eóin & Briain. Missed by his daughters-in-law Terri, Kathryn & Áine, grandchildren Alex, Iggy, Naoise, Síofra, Louis, Martha, Olive, Dylan, Luke, Nadia, Nicole & Natasha, brother Gerard, sisters Margaret and Lilly (pre-deceased siblings Billy, Marie & Nora), in-laws Kay, Noel & Rudi, partners, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and, of course, great friends in Dublin, Cullenstown Co. Wexford and abroad. Knowing you was a joy to him, and he was a joy to know.

Reposing on Tuesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Dolphin’s Barn, SCR. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 am at St. Michael’s Church, Emmet Road, Inchicore, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. House private.
