Rooney, Sebastian (Sib), The Hall, Oristown, Kells, Co. Meath. 30th December 2022. Former chairman of Meath County Council. Peacefully at St. Colmcille's Nursing Home, Kells. Predeceased by his wife Lily. Sib will be sadly missed by his children Vincent, Elma, Colette, Brendan, Ambrose and Desmond, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Tom and Joe, daughters-in-law Bríd, Cathleen, Helen and Bridget, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence (A82 F611) on Sunday 1st January from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Removal on Monday morning arriving at St. Catherine's Church, Oristown for 11 o'clock funeral mass which may be viewed live on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/Camera/st-catherines-church. Masks are to be worn in the church please. Burial afterwards in Gibbstown Cemetery.
