Suddenly but peacefully at home, 3rd July 2025.
Predeceased by his father John, sister-in-law Aoife and uncle Jim.
Shane will be forever loved and always remembered by his beloved mother Ethna, dear sister Ruth (New Zealand) and brother David, nephews and nieces Hannah, Amelia, Charlie, Jack and Tom, brother-in-law Conor, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and all his wonderful friends.

Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street (A91Y3CX) on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm.
Removal on Monday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial afterwards in Louth Village Cemetery.
Shane was everyone’s friend, a popular barman
known for his hilarious one-liners and his good nature.
He was a genuine, likable person who always made people feel welcome.
His warmth, sharp wit, unmistakable laugh, smile and presence will be
deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His spirit will keep living in the laughs we shared and the memories we hold dear.
