Shane Hynes-Durmaz

Shane Hynes-Durmaz, 31st May 2025, peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family and friends, in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

 

 

Predeceased by his grandparents Paddy and Peggy Hynes, Iraz Durmaz and aunts Bernadette and Gonul.

 

 

Dearly loved by his heartbroken parents Assunta (Duddy) and Sahin, sadly missed by his grandfather Abdullah, uncle Selim, aunts Marie, Barbara and Margaret, uncles John and Martin, cousins and his large circle of friends and especially the wonderful caring staff at Lar Foley House.

 

 

 

May his gentle Soul rest in peace.

 

 

Reposing at his residence (D06 T6P2) this Wednesday evening from 5pm.

 

Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, Dublin 6, (D06 RH 30) arriving for 10am Requiem Mass.

Removal after Mass to Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, Co. Mayo (F23 XY63) for reposal from 6pm - 7.30pm.

 

Removal from Coady’s Funeral Home on Friday morning at 11am where Shane will be laid to rest in Castlebar New Cemetery.
