Shane Liston

The death has occurred of Shane (Swag) Liston, Ardagh, Co. Limerick.

 

Shane passed away very peacefully at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his heartbroken family, after a courageous and fearless battle. He is predeceased by his father, Paddy.

 

Shane will be deeply missed by his loving family - his mam Gerardine, his brothers Gavin and Dean, his sisters Ciara, Lisa and Aimee, and their partners Tina, Jamie, Keith, Shauna and Sam. He will be remembered by his cherished niece and nephew, Willow and Josh; his aunts Mary, Maria and Breda; his uncles Billy, Mick, Liam, Noel and Finbarr; his aunt-in-law Margaret, and uncles-in-law Pat and Joe. Shane will also be fondly remembered by all his cousins - especially Liam and Patrick, with whom he was particularly close - as well as by his kind neighbours and many dear friends.

Reposing at his family home, Glenastar, Ardagh, Co. Limerick (V42 CF12), on Wednesday, 16th July from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 17th July at 12:00 noon in St. Molua’s Church, Ardagh and will be live-streamed followed by burial in the local cemetery.
