Shane Mc Geough Templesprings, Grangegodden, Kells, Co. Meath and formerly of 23 Headfort Grove, Kells, Co. Meath  A82 C5C7.

 

The death has occurred peacefully of Shane Mc Geough aged 38 years following a long illness, In the loving care of his devoted family and medical team at his residence in Grangegodden.

 

Shane will repose at his residence Templesprings, Grangegodden, Kells, Co. Meath  (A82 R6E4) on Wednesday, 1st June, from 4pm to 8pm, house private thereafter for family and friends only please.

 

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am  via Farrell St., Cross St. and John St. to arrive at St Colmcille's Church for Funeral Mass at 11am  which can be viewed on  https://www.kellsparish.ie/                      followed by burial in St. Colmcilles Cemetery.

 

Shane is survived by his darling wife Michelle, precious daughter Harlow, heartbroken parents Cathriona and Kevin (their only child)          his brothers and sisters, mother-in-law Mary, father-in-law Noel, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god children, in-laws and a very large circle of wonderful friends in Ireland and Australia who supported Shane and his family during his illness.

 

Shane will be fondly remembered as a person of great gentleness, integrity and courage who accepted his illness with bravery and gratitude to his family, friends and medical team who cared for him during his illness. He was a gifted sportsperson on the playing field, an electrician by profession and was a member of the Police Force in Australia. He was loved and respected far and wide  for the person he was and will be greatly missed by his loving family and wonderful friends.
