The death has occurred of
Shane McGovern
Shane McGovern, Montreal, Canada and formerly The Lawn, Belturbet, Co. Cavan peacefully in Montreal surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Sean and Lucy McGovern. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Yolanda, his children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings Padraig, Veronica, Lucy and Aine and is deeply mourned by his sister Ita (Maynooth) and his relatives and friends in Ireland.
Shane loved Belturbet with all his heart even though he left in the 1940s.
Rest in Peace.
His funeral will take place in Montreal.
