Sharon Mathews, Beechwood Drive, Dunleer and Tullydonnell, Togher, Co. Louth. 9th February 2026 Peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of her colleagues and devoted staff of Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, aged 56 years. Sharon, predeceased by her parents Breeden and Ben. Beloved mam to Daniel and devoted sister to Mary. Sadly missed by her son, sister, daughter-in-law Ciara, grandson Luca, brother-in-law Randolph, nephews Colm and his wife Lisa, Niall and his wife Aishling, niece Sara and her husband Stephen, grandnieces and grandnephews Alisha, Jamie, Josh, Alex, Kayla, Nathan, Aria and Leo, aunts, uncles, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the home of her sister Mary in Tullydonnell (A92 A9C9) from 2pm until 8pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Thursday in St Bridgid’s Church, Dunleer which can be viewed live on https://www.dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/

Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery.
