Shay Donnelly

Donnelly, Shay (late of Springfield, Tallaght and formerly of Pearse Street, Dublin 2), 19th February 2026, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Dot, married for 65 wonderful years and loving dad to Angela and Jim.

 

Shay will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law Melaine, grandchildren Michelle, Dean, Ian, Ciara, Alan and Scott, great- grandchildren Millie, Emily, Lucas, Chloe, Quinn and Jack, sisters Mary, Teresa, Margaret and Catherine, predeceased by his brother Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of friends and neighbours.

 

May Shay rest in peace

Reposing at home on Monday (23rd February) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (24th February) at 11am in St Marks Church, Springfield followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Parkinson Association Ireland
