Shay Duffy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Shay Duffy. Mullyore, Carrickmacross. 15th November 2025. Tragically, following a road traffic accident.

 

Predeceased by his grandads Vinnie Duffy & Patsy Myles.

 

Shay, forever loved and missed beyond words by his heartbroken family; his parents Raymond & Carmel, his adored brothers Vinnie & Ben, his girlfriend Zara, his granny Marion & granny Philomena, his uncles & aunts; Brendan, David, Colette, Aileen & Pauline and Matthew, Mary, Angeline, Teresa & Helen, his cousins, extended family, his many wonderful friends, neighbours, the entire community & beyond.

Shay will repose at his home, Mullyore, A81 W028, on Wednesday, 19th November, from 4pm until 8pm, Thursday, 20th November, from 4pm until 8pm & Friday, 21st November, from 4pm until 8pm.

 

House private on Saturday morning.

 

Shay's funeral cortège will leave his home on Saturday, 22nd November, proceeding to St. Patrick's Church, Rockchapel, A81 KD72, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
