Shay (James) Grey

Grey, Shay (James), 30th September 2025 (Castleknock and formerly of Crumlin); peacefully after an illness bravely borne surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Helen, devoted dad of Sarah and Alan and an amazing and adored grandad of Ben, Oliver, Henry and Matthew. Predeceased by his sister Anne.

Shay will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, son-in-law Cormac, daughter-in-law Mary, grandsons, his siblings Sean, Una, Richard and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, great neighbours and his many many friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday (2nd October) from 4pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (3rd October) at 11am in Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Castleknock followed by Cremation in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome.
