The death has occurred of
Shay O'Donoghue
Shay passed peacefully from this life in the loving care of the staff in
Portumna Retirement Village on Monday 2nd March 2026.

Predeceased by his brother Mark and his ex wife Peg,
Shay will be sadly missed by his children Derek, Gilda and Pearse,
daughters-in-law June and Triona, Gilda's partner Paddy,
grandchildren Aaron, Megan, Kerrie, Amy, Lee, Bobbi-Belle, Jamie,
Julia and Luke, great-grandchildren Halle and Gracie,
his sister Mida and brother Ray, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law,
nieces, nephews, relatives, members of the extended family and friends.

Shay will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds
of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on
Thursday 5th March from 5pm to 7pm.
A private cremation will take place afterwards.

An online condolence book has been opened in Shay's memory
where family and friends are invited to leave messages of sympathy
which will be of support to them at this sad time.
