Sheila BYRNE
(née Saunders)
BYRNE, Sheila (née Saunders) late of Rathfarnham and formerly of Walkin Street, Kilkenny City, passed away peacefully on the 30th of October 2023, in the wonderful care of the staff at Terenure Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Liam and loving mother to Sharon, Caroline, Sinéad and Eddie, and cherished sister of Peggy; she will be sadly missed by her husband, children, sister, sons-in-law Colm, Niall and Ron, daughter-in-law Olive, grandchildren Cian, Tara, Darren, Ross, Caolfhionn, and Cillian, her great-granddaughter Scarlet, nieces, nephews, and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Sheila will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday evening (November 1st) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Divine Word, Marley Grange, Rathfarnham, arriving for 11.30am Mass, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
