Sheila Kain (née Downes), formerly of Brosna, Co. Kerry died peacefully in the comfort of Killeline Care Centre surrounded by her family at 8.50 a.m. on Monday, 30th June 2025

Sheila will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Denis, daughters Kerry and Mandy, sisters Johanna, Maryann and Kathleen, beloved brother Billy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and cherished members of her extended family and friends.

Her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. We take comfort in the memories of her kindness, generosity, humour and love.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Killeline Care Centre for their kindness and care during Sheila’s time with them, especially in her final days. You know who you are.

Reposing at Grandma’s House, Upper Main Street, Brosna, Co. Kerry (V92 C6X7) on Tuesday, 1st July from 5.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m.

Removal on Wednesday, 2nd July to St. Carthage’s Church Brosna to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. followed by Cremation at Shannon Crematorium.
