Kavanagh (née Clancy) Main Street, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ballycashin, Kilnaboy, Co. Clare. 7th April 2024, peacefully in her 90th year, in the loving care of her family and the staff at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Sheila, beloved wife of Nicholas and loving mother of Bernard, Bríd, Eoin and Anne-Marie, predeceased by her parents Alice and John, also her siblings Eileen, Michael, Mary, Susan, Myles, Ena, Murry and Turla. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, brother Donal, sisters Della, Kitty, Una and Finola, sons-in-law Bernard and Oran, daughters-in-law Patricia and Anne, grandchildren Claire, Áife, Orlaith, Niamh, Alaidh, Tom, Darragh, Martha, Ava, Cathal and Aisling, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Sheila will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) on Thursday from 3pm, with removal on Thursday evening at 6.30pm to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow, arriving for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12noon, followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.
