(née Mooney)
Sheila Maher, née Mooney “Gayville”, Old Dublin Road, Carlow, (Retired Carlow VEC) August 23rd 2025 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Dearly loved and adored wife of Tony. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sisters Patsy Fitzharris (Sycamore Road, Carlow), Kathleen Haughney (Chapelstown, Carlow), Colette Hayes (Clonakilty, Cork), brothers-in-law Brian, Leo and John, sister-in-law Robina, cherished nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Tom.
May the choirs of Angels sing Sheila to her rest.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Monday (Aug 25th) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
