McCARTHY (South Douglas Road and Blackrock, Cork): On March 18th, 2026, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family, SHEILA, beloved wife of Freddy and much-loved mother of Laura and David, a cherished and devoted grandmother to Dylan, Millie, Shóna, Sophia and Mylo, who will carry her love with them always.

Sheila will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, family, sister Joan, brothers Seán, Joseph and Peter, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Friday (20th March) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (21st March) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock which will be live streamed
