McDERMOTT Sheila (née Newman), Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, (peacefully) at St Francis Hospice, Raheny - 30th January 2024; beloved wife of John, mother of Ronan, Ceara (Killeen), Sarah (Wilson) and Graham, grandmother of Emma and Nanny to cherished grandchildren Adam, Grace, Emily, Eoin, Ellie, Isabelle and Zara, sister of Tony, Conal, Jean, Jim and Ken. Sheila will be sadly missed also by her daughters-in-law Sinead and Mary, sons-in-law Eddie and Christian, brothers-in-law Austin, Jaber and Babush, sisters-in law Gloria and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at McNally’s Funeral Home, 20 Drogheda Street, Balbriggan on Thursday, 1st February, from 2pm – 4pm. Removal on Friday, 2nd February to S.S. Peter & Paul’s Church, Balbriggan arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Balrothery Cemetery.
