SHEILA MURPHY

Murphy (Kealkill)
On Febuary 2nd, 2026, peacefully at Marymount Hospice Cork, SHEILA, (NEE MEANEY), Maughanaclea. Beloved wife of the late Timmy, loving mother of John, Patrick, Niall and Blaise and the late Tim Joe, sister of Teddy, Eileen (O’ Halloran), Jack and the late Miah and Martin.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, brothers-in-law Paddy and Billy, sisters-in-law Maureen and Breda, nieces Martina, Denise and Claire, nephews Tim, Brendan, Declan and Seán, grandnephews, grandnieces, wonderful neighbours and her large circle of friends.
May she rest in peace
Reposing in Collins’s Funeral Home, Kealkill on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers.
Funeral Mass on Friday in The Church of The Immaculate Conception Kealkill at 12noon followed by burial in Kilmacomogue Cemetery.
The Murphy family wish to acknowledge the wonderful service of Cancer Connect Bantry, also the wonderful care and support from the Doctors and staff at Bantry Bay Medical Centre, the oncology team at C.U.H. and Marymount Hospice, Cork.
