Sheila passed away very peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of The Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family, on April 22nd, 2026.
Predeceased by her loving parents Gerald and Mary McCorry, her sister Geraldine and her brother John-Francis.
Beloved wife of Martin. Sheila will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband, sons Garry and Martin, daughter Clodagh, son-in-law Noel, daughter-in-law Eileen and Garry's partner Aisling, her 7 adoring grandchildren Marty, Dylan, Darren, Annie, Tara, Jane and Jason, brother Garry McCorry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May Sheila's Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace
Reposing at St. Pio's Room, within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Westside, Galway (H91 E781), on Friday the 24th April from 5:00pm followed by removal at 6:30pm into the church. Sheila's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 25th of April at 10:00am. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery (H91 XW62).
