The death has occurred of Sheila O’Leary (Upper Cloghroe, Co.Cork)

O’LEARY (Upper Cloghroe, Co.Cork): On February 14th 2026, Sheila (née O’Connell) passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Jerome and loving mother of Margaret, Eibhlín, Elizabeth-Ann, Denis and Mary Jane. Sister of Mary Twomey (twin), William and the late Lourde Coady. Deeply missed by her loving husband and family, daughter-in-law Ruth, sons-in-law Martin, Declan, Paul and Patrick. Fondly remembered and adored by her 16 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace

Lying in repose at her home Upper Cloghroe (T23 WV60) on Sunday (February 15th) from 3.00pm with prayers at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon Monday (February 16th) in St Senan’s Church, Cloghroe which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stsenans. Burial afterwards at St Senan’s Cemetery, Tower.
