Sheila passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork on Easter Monday, April 21st, 2025.

 

Daughter of the late Michael and Mary, dear mother of Joy, Alan and Trevor and adored nana of Meadhbh, Darragh and Cian.

 

Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons, their father, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Cathy Ann, Joy’s partner Scott and Alan’s partner Sarah, brothers Ned and Michael, uncle Denis and aunt-in-law Betty, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, a large circle of friends and her best friend Anne.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

 

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, after which Sheila will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Mallow.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the Red House Family Practice, MPHC, Mallow, CUH and Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork for the wonderful care, compassion and dignity shown to Sheila throughout her illness.
