Sheila Ridge
(née O'Driscoll)

RIDGE (Skibbereen Residential Care Centre, Skibbereen, Co. Cork): on March 17th 2024. SHEILA (nee O’Driscoll) passed peacefully in the compassionate and exceptional care of the wonderful team at the Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. Sheila was born in Ballydehob in 1936 and was the beloved daughter of the late Sean and Nora O'Driscoll and dear sister of Clare, Kathleen (Vera), Fionan and the late Maureen, Sean Og and Finbarr. Sheila is deeply missed by her children Kieran, Colman and Sheila and her granddaughters whom she adored, Bianca, Zoe and Eva. Sheila will also be sadly missed by her dear relatives and wide circle of friends in Ireland, England, Australia, Scotland, the USA, Japan, Brazil and many other places of loving connection across the world.

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday, March 24th 2024, from 5pm to 6pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen on Monday, March 25th 2024, at 12 noon. This will be livestreamed via https://www.skibbereenandrath.ie/skibbereen-webcam/. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen. Those attending are invited to wear bright colours, especially green to reflect mum's love of Ireland in the springtime.
